Exclusive! Cheshire Cat Paper Toy in Wonderland

Anybody want a cat? It’s not the cute one. It’s the hate filled, mentally ill one that just puked all over my bedroom floor.

RAGERAGERAGE

Can someone smarter than me explain why we are still raging about this? Should the context of who put this together change our perception? Should fried chicken and collard greens be banned in February so people with privilege don’t have to feel guilty about their tenuous understanding of anything concerning African-American culture or experience in the United States?
After watching the interview with the chef, I hope she doesn’t lose her job.

Colorado Republican Tom Tancredo, in his opening-night speech at the National Tea Party Convention (via TPM)

Literacy and civics test were used during the Jim Crow era to keep blacks from voting. Note that this is the same man who said Sonia Sotomayor was a member of the “Latino KKK” and who’s former speechwriter (for his failed presidential run) plead guilty to delivering a “karate chop” to a random black woman after calling her a nigger.
